Skiing & Snowshoeing
Wapiti Valley Regional Park, located 30 minutes from Nipawin, also offers some cross country skiing, in conjunction with the downhill ski areas of Ski Wapiti valley.
Wapiti Valley Resort features a beautifully scenic skiing experience. 10 runs, quad chair lift, magic carpet lift, snow making, chalet, loung and rental shop. They also offer skiing lessons for those new to the sport.

Cross Country Skiing
Ski trails start right in Nipawin at the tenth hole of the popular Evergreen Golf Course, connecting to trails within the Nipawin Regional Park, totaling approximately 7 km of groomed scenic cross country ski trails.
On the outskirts of Nipawin, off the highway 55, Saskatchewan Environment grooms approximately 13 km of trails, along the Saskatchewan River, A parking lot is available at the starting point of four separate trails, one of them house a rest stop. It is important to know your personal skill level before choosing one of the more challenging trails that includes steep slopes and varied terrain.
