Pool @ Central Park

Built in 2017, The Pool @ Central Park is a Junior Olympic Pool with one diving board and 188’ waterslide. There is a separate Leisure Pool for infants and toddlers, with a toddler slide and spray features. The pool is a highlight seasonal attraction in Nipawin, and is operational from mid-May to the end of August.

The pool offers a variety of programs available to the public, including;

  • Lane swim
  • Aquasize and exercise program
  • Therapeutic swimming
  • Parent & Tot
  • Public swim
  • Event rentals

The pool strives to promote inclusion, and can accommodate guests with any variety of needs. Currently, the pool offers a water wheel chair, a zero gravity entry olympic pool as well as a family dressing room with an adult change table.

Pool rates are available in single admission or in punch cards of 10 swims.

Beach Volleyball

New in 2021, Nipawin now offers a beautifully sanded volleyball grounds right next to the Pool @ Central Park. Volleyballs are available for use from the Pool @ Central park with admission at the pool.

Disc Golf

In Central Park you can test your hand at two different 9 whole Disc Golf Courses. Discs are available at Nipawin Tourism and Information Center during office hours. After hours, you may pick up Discs at one of our provided lock boxes by scanning the QR code on the box.

Fat Tire Bikes

 Available for use from the Nipawin Evergreen Center, Fat Tire bikes are off-road style bikes built to explore territory that are not necessarily accessible by vehicle, and can also be used on trails in the snow. These bikes are a great family activity to stay active during any season of your visit.

Bowling

Located in Nipawin is a 6 lane, family friendly bowling alley – Nipawin Bowl. With flexible hours and plenty of lanes, Nipawin Bowl is the perfect indoor family day activity, or evening of glow bowling.

Nipawin Skate Park

The Nipawin Skate Park was built in 2016 and is an extremely well used facility amongst the youth. The park is easily accessible with plenty of parking space, easy to locate, and tailored to appeal to skaters and bikers of every skill level.

Nipawin Public Library

The Nipawin Public Library is a branch of Wapiti Regional Library. The Library moved to a new facility in 2005 and is now located in Central Park Learning Centre, a facility shared with Central Park Elementary School and Cumberland Regional College.

The Library has computers and a printer available for public use. The library also has Wi-Fi access. Any patron with a library card can access resources from any library in Saskatchewan by taking advantage of the inter-library loan feature.

The Library offers community programming such as author talks, How-To seminars, and the Summer Reading Program.
